Paul Richards Nature and Wildlife photography based in North Norfolk.
I was brought up in rural Wales and spent many hours fishing the River Wye or roaming the countryside watching birds and other wildlife. These early interests led into a career in fisheries and then countryside management.
In March 2005 I escaped local government to get back in touch with nature and I have been spending a lot of my time since then photographing our wonderful wildlife.
My CV goes something like this:
- Born Cardiff 1953.
- Grew up in Mid Wales.
- Studied biology in Cardiff.
- 15 years in fisheries as water bailiff, fish farmer & fishery manager.
- Post graduate course in countryside management, Bangor 1989.
- 20 years spent in countryside management, now retired and living in Norfolk.
I am a keen camera club member and judge at club and international level.
I have experience in photographic tuition and run courses and workshops to help people get the best from their equipment and develop their photographic skills. We also have a beautiful holiday home near Tenby where visitors can stay and experience the wonderful landscape and wildlife on the Pembrokeshire coast.
I am available for digital slide talks and presentations to photographic clubs and other organisations on a variety of subjects, including natural history and photography. Contact me for rates or a quotation.
