After successful courses last year I will be running three weekend courses on landscape and nature photography for the Field Studies Council at Margam Park near Port Talbot in South Wales in 2011-2012.

Spring bluebells and landscapes along with nature in close up will feature highly on the April course while rutting deer and waterfalls will be the focus of our Autumn weekends.

Five day photography course May 8-13 2012 - The Art of Nature Photography

This course will be held at Orielton Field Centre, in Pembrokeshire. The course will give participants the basic skills and Knowledge for successful nature and landscape photography. The course will involve practical field work in the beautiful countryside and coastal region of South Pembrokeshire. Bookings and details from Orielton Field Centre

3. MID- WALES WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

June 8-10 th 2012 - Workshop in wildlife photography - I am organising a 3 day workshop in Mid Wales. A chance for participants to enjoy 3 days in and around Mid-Wales. We will enjoy the very best of woodland nature photography hopefully getting close to spotted and pied flycatchers, redstarts , whinchats and other woodland birds typical of upland sessile oak woodlands. Three nights in a quality three star B&B included in the price. Price - £350 per person Maximum of four people. Package includes transport and packed lunches.

4. Red Kite Workshops - expand your photo skills

Available Dcember - February - dates flexible

Learn and improve your camera skills on a Three day workshop in the Wye Valley in mid Wales. Practice your camera skills with fast flight and action photography as well as landscape photography in beautiful Mid Wales. Transport to the Kite feeding centre and two nights in modern comfortable B&B and packed lunch is included in the price. Price - £350 per person Maximum of four people.

Evening session geared to image processing and any other questions you may have. If you can master this you can do anything and you will definately be ready for that safari holiday.

5. One Day Workshops and one to one tuition at various venues at your convenience:

I am available on a one to one basis for anyone wishing to improve their nature and landscape photography. I know how technical and confusing digital photography and image processing can be - I have learned the hard way! I can deliver anything from a half day instruction course on the principals of good photography with a review on editing and image processing options to an intensive action packed three days out in the very best locations in Pembrokeshire, Gower or Mid Wales

I do a one day or three day worksop on nature photography looking specifically at heathland and coastal wildlife including adders and many of the less common heathland species.

Mid Wales - May and June

Workshop includes a visit to a local sessile oak woodland for a close look at pied flycatchers or try your hand at improving your flight photography at the Kite Feeding Centre. If you want more than one day I can arrange a stay in a comfortable modern B&B as part of a package.
